چکیده
Cross-correlations between Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) temperature and polarization anisotropies $\mu$-spectral distortions have been considered to measure (squeezed) primordial scalar bispectra in a range of scales inaccessible primary CMB bispectra. In this work we address whether it is possible constrain tensor non-Gaussianities with these cross-correlations. We find that only statistical leave distinct signatures, while isotropic either vanishing or highly suppressed signatures. discuss how the angular dependence squeezed terms short long momenta determine non-zero also non-vanishing configurations are affected by way which transform under parity. Polarized CMB: Reionization and Primordial Tensor modes
We discuss upcoming opportunities with cosmic microwave background (CMB) observations during the post-WMAP era. The curlmodes of CMB polarization probe inflationary gravitational waves (IGWs). While a significant source of confusion is expected from cosmic shear conversion of polarization related to density perturbations, higher resolution observations of CMB anisotropies can be used for a lens...
متن کاملForecasting cosmic doomsday from CMB-LSS cross-correlations
A broad class of dark energy models, which have been proposed in attempts at solving the cosmological constant problems, predict a late time variation of the equation of state with redshift. The variation occurs as a scalar field picks up speed on its way to negative values of the potential. The negative potential energy eventually turns the expansion into contraction and the local universe und...
متن کاملTesting Primordial Non-Gaussianity in CMB Anisotropies
Recent second-order perturbation computations have provided an accurate prediction for the primordial gravitational potential, Φ(x), in scenarios in which cosmological perturbations are generated either during or after inflation. This enables us to make realistic predictions for a nonGaussian part of Φ(x), which is generically written in momentum space as a double convolution of its Gaussian pa...
متن کاملCMB Signatures of a Primordial Magnetic Field
A primordial stochastic magnetic field will induce temperature and polarization fluctuations in the cosmic microwave background. We outline a calculation of the resulting fluctuation power spectra and present numerical results.

We generalize in several ways the results existing in the literature: a) we make use of an exact general relativistic solution for a spherical, nearly empty cavity in the matter dominated era to evaluate the null geodesics and the SachsWolfe effect; b) we evaluate the magnitude of the adiabatic fluctuations of the photon-baryon plasma; c) we study the influence of the shell profile; and d) we t...
